Biography
Justine Noel, Ph.D.
Justine earned her BS in Biology from SUNY Stony Brook University. In January 2023, she received her PhD in Immunology from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she completed her training under the guidance of Dr. M. Cecilia Berin. Her doctoral research delved into the intricate relationship between prenatal psychological stress, maternal immunity, and its potential implications for neonatal allergy susceptibility. Following her PhD, Justine furthered her expertise as an ORISE postdoc at the FDA, focusing on the immunogenicity of therapeutics. Now a part of the NCATS team, she is passionately committed to advancing women's health. Specifically, Justine is keen on exploring placental immunity to understand its therapeutic potential, and to develop strategies that better predict and treat pregnancy-related complications. Outside of her professional pursuits, she finds joy in baking and is an avid runner.
